Lucy Bloom speaks for high schools students all over Australia as she travels extensively for her corporate and industry work.

In her first year out of high school, Lucy survived a motorcycle accident which left her unemployable for the next few years. She could have taken a pension and gazed at her toes, or she could have created her own advertising agency and been the boss for the next twenty years. She chose the agency route and went to law school and then art school, and more recently studied neuroscience.

Lucy then became the CEO of two international aid charities, one in Ethiopia and one in Cambodia. She is the author of three books and is onto her third career, now as a full time conference speaker.

Lucy Bloom’s high school speeches show (but do not tell) students that life is not always a perfect trajectory from here to there, that they can change their mind, make mistakes, follow the fun and perhaps getting REALLY GOOD at something (anything) is what pays off.
